Imtex 2007
The machine tool market is expected to grow manifolds. This is because the machine tool manufacturing companies are the prime equipment providers and sources of supply to all aspects of the vast machinery industry. This gives the reason as to why attending Imtex and the concurrent event Tooltech 2007 - to be held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre on January 18-24, 2007 - are extremely advantageous for the industry. Imtex 2007 is the 13th Indian machine tool exhibition with international participation. The ninth international exhibition of cutting tools, Tooltech 2007, would focus on tooling systems, machine tool accessories, metrology and CAD/CAM. Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organising Imtex 2007.
Event with a difference
There would be a comprehensive display of metalworking machine tools, cutting tools, tooling systems, machine tool accessories, metrology and CAD/CAM. Visitors/delegations are expected from automotive (four wheelers, two wheelers, earthmoving equipment, farm equipment and auto components), defence, aerospace, railways, household appliances, electrical and electronics, printing machinery, textile machinery, food processing equipment, industrial machinery, agricultural machinery, computer peripherals, pumps, diesel engine industry and many more.
Wide range of products at Imtex 2007
The products to be exhibited would include:
- Machine tools for metalworking, which are power-driven, powered by external source of energy, designed specifically for metalworking either by cutting, forming, physico-chemical processing or a combination of all these techniques
- Assembly and manipulating equipment and industrial robots
- Welding machines and equipment
- Plastic-processing machines, including extruders, injection and blow-moulding machines
- Die-casting machine
