INDIA RUBBER EXPO
All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) along with CAPEXIL have organized India Rubber Expo 2007 from 17 to 20 January 2007. Along with the Exhibition, a three day International Conference will be held, which attracts 40 technical & techno-commercial papers along with 4 Panel discussion & 500+ delegates
The basic objectives behind organizing the conference is to provide a common forum for all Asian countries to come together and work on joint strategies to further expand the opportunities keeping in mind the fact that Asian markets presently constitute the second-largest consumers of natural rubber and have recorded much higher growth rates than its European counterparts. Experts from leading Asian markets such as Japan, China, Malaysia, Korea besides USA, Germany & The Netherlands, are coming together for the first time on a joint platform to discuss emerging market scenarios and technological developments in what is being billed as the largest industry event in Asia in natural rubber segment.
The event will provide the world over and identify major thrust areas for future growth to face the challenges offered by liberalization and globalization of the Indian economy
All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA), the voice, the platform and the forum of the Rubber Industry, has completed 60 years of existence. The association is a non-profit making body, dedicated to promoting the interest, growth and development of the Indian Rubber Industry. The association has around 1400 members affiliated to it. The association has its central office at Mumbai with 3 regional offices at New Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai and Mumbai and a Chapter office in Pune. Two more offices are planned at Kottayam and Nashik.
The association serves as a catalyst between the trade and industry and the government and between the rubber fraternity in India and abroad.
To promote two-way trade, technical exchange, upgradation of technology, AIRIA undertakes the following as a facilitator:
- By organizing Asia's largest Rubber Show - INDIA RUBBER EXPO.
- By sponsoring delegates and participating in International Rubber exhibitions.
By arranging various national and international seminars and workshops for exchange of ideas towards development of the industry.
AIRIA assists in identification of partners for joint ventures, location of customers and suppliers as also provides help required in technical and manpower training.
AIRIA is the voice of the Rubber Industry in India and represents the industry at all forums at the state, national and international levels.
AIRIA interacts with the Government of India on behalf of the Rubber Industry for direct and indirect taxation, environment norms, and views of the industry on all matters affecting or likely to affect the industry.
AIRIA's goal is to make India a significant player in all segments of the Rubber Industry.
CAPEXIL
