SMEs in South Korea

SMEs account for more than 95 per cent of companies in South Korea. Collectively SMEs are therefore a significant customer segment for financial services providers.

The smallest SMEs, those with between one and four employees, account for more than half of the total number of SMEs in South Korea and employ almost 20 per cent of the SME workforce.
